I have got a bunch of new lippies to review over here so brace your self for “all things lips review rain” 😀 Matte lips are all the rage these days so I decided to review Essence xxxl long lasting lip gloss matte effect in the shade “06 – Soft nude”.
So, Here we go!
ABOUT THE PRODUCT:
matt = a must! if you love this lip trend, the velvety-matt, long-lasting lipglosses are ideal for you! the light, mousse-like texture lasts on your lips for several hours without drying them out. particularly easy to apply thanks to the flat applicator.
Ingredients: HYDROGENATED DIDECENE, TALC, POLYBUTENE, SILICA DIMETHYL SILYLATE, CERA ALBA (BEESWAX), DIMETHICONE, DIMETHICONE/VINYL DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER, DISTEARDIMONIUM HECTORITE, C26-28 ALKYL DIMETHICONE, SODIUM SACCHARIN, PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRA-DI-T-BUTYL HYDROXYHYDROCINNAMATE, AROMA (FLAVOR), CI 15850 (RED 7 LAKE), CI 19140 (YELLOW 5 LAKE), CI 77491 (IRON OXIDES), CI 77891 (TITANIUM DIOXIDE).
PACKAGING:
It comes in a basic lip gloss tube which is transparent and shows the exact color of the product inside. It has a long doe foot applicator that picks up the exact amount needed to cover the entire lips. Overall the packaging looks chic and is also travel friendly.
QUALITY:
Upon opening, the first thing that comes to notice is it’s sweet vanilla scent that lingers around for a decent amount of time. It is nicely pigmented and one layer is enough for an opaque finish on the lips. It is not anywhere near gloss. It has a creamy consistency that dries semi matte and does not enhance or settle into the lip lines. The wear time of this lip cream quite decent. It stays put with out smudging or bleeding until you eat in it or lick it. The flat doe foot applicator makes the application easy and it’s silky formula adds to the ease.
The color I have got is a My lips but better kind of shade. Perfect for NC 25-30 skin tones.

FINAL VERDICT:
Essence xxxl long lasting lip gloss matte effect is a creamier version of Essence stay matte lip cream. I still love my stay matte lip cream better as they dried completely matte but not drying at all. It is great for girls looking for an everyday lip product. It is easy to apply and can be taken along for touch ups.
