Choosing the right Fluid Dispensing System reduces the amount of waste and increases productivity. Dispense materials such as adhesives, conformal coatings, encapsulants, lubricants, and sealants with optimum precision. Dispensing systems are suitable for low, medium, and high production environments in almost every industry. From dispensing tips to automated robots we offer a complete line of products to create a fluid management process that gives you the control and flexibility you need.

The Diversity of

DISPENSING

Most of us are familiar with the standard bottle or glue stick, but the technology in dispensing adhesives and specialty chemicals has grown exponentially. Read this infographic to learn more about the different types of dispensing equipment.

Manual, Handheld Applicators

Harness the power of... your own arm. From a cup and a stick, to the commonly known "caulking" gun, manual, handheld applicators are the most popular items for adhesive dispensing. Options available for both 1 and 2 part materials.

Nozzles & Static Mixers

Nozzles and static mixers provide an accurate, clean and simple way to apply adhesives and specialty chemicals. Nozzles are used with one-part materials and can be cut to provide the preferred bead size. Static mixers are used with two-part adhesives, consisting of a plastic tube with alternating, angled elements within the tube, mixing the materials while it's dispensed.

Hot Melt Handheld Dispensers

Hot melt dispensers, or hot glue guns, push cylindrical sticks of thermoplastic adhesive through the dispenser using a mechanical trigger. The adhesive is melted using a continuous-duty heating element inside the dispenser. Once melted, the adhesive comes out of the nozzle at the end of the gun.

Tape Dispensers

Most commonly known for packaging applications (including gift wrapping!), tape dispensers generally consist of the same parts: a roller to load the tape onto and a blade to cut the tape once the right amount is dispensed.

Pneumatic, Handheld Applicators

Pneumatic, handheld applicators attach an air compressor that when the trigger is pulled, pressure moves a plunger to dispense the adhesive out of the cartridge. Options available for both 1 and 2 part materials.

Fun Fact:

Some tips and needles can dispense extremely tiny amounts. One tip can dispense 50 micrometers of adhesives at a time, which looks like this:

Dispensing Tips & Needles

Dispensing Tips, aka Dispensing Needles, are available in different gauges, lengths and threads. Tapered needles are used for high viscosity fluids while stainless steel tips are made for precision. There are also PTFE lined needles for cyanoacrylates and flexible tips for hard-to-reach areas.

Dispensing Controllers

Dispensing Controllers offer accurate, controlled dispensing for the user in a wide variety of applications including microdot deposits, lines, large potting and filling. Once connected to an airline and a power source, dispensing controllers can be programmed to dispense exact amounts in a few easy steps, plus a hand or foot actuator can be attached for easy applying.

Valves

Valves are used in conjunction with automated robots and/or dispensing controllers to provide precision dispensing of adhesives and specialty chemicals. Depending on the type of adhesive and amount dispensed, there are multiple valves available including diaphragm, needle, pinch tube, poppet, positive displacement and others.

Meter Mix Systems

Meter Mix and Dispensing systems precisely measure, blend, control and dispense adhesives and specialty chemicals with uniform accuracy and reliability. They work with single and multiple component materials including epoxies, polyurethanes, silicones, acrylics, urethanes, pastes, abrasive- or microsphere-filled materials and more. Meter Mix Systems are available in benchtop, cart-mounted, or full workstation sizes.
