Do People Still Buy Calendars?

Why have one?

Whether you buy one for yourself because of the pretty pictures or you are given one by a business to help promote their products or services, calendars are indeed still quite useful.

At home it can usually be found hanging in your kitchen – the central hub of your daily life – as a quick reminder about upcoming birthdays or special events and is a great way to know what’s coming up next. Or perhaps it’s a way to highlight sporting events, doctor appointments with multiple people in a family.

In the office it’s certainly helpful to have an overview of the month especially when you’re trying to figure out where a certain date falls in the week – is that a Friday or Saturday? Or they can be used for a quick reference on the major public holidays that can affect days of operation or employee holidays.

Of course, many of us have resorted to using our smart phones to input this data and have reminders set on our phones. But for some people the traditional wall calendar just helps keep dates and special moments to commemorate forefront.
