Compressed Air as Power Source

Generally speaking, air compressor could have the following 4 applications. 1.Compressed air as power source; 2.Compressor used in chemical industry; 3.Compressed air used for refrigeration and air separation; 4.Gas transportation.

Compressed air could power all kinds of pneumatic machinery and pneumatic tools like jack hammers, pneumatic drill, air wrench, sand blasting and painting etc. Also it could be the air source for instrument control, automatic equipment and material transportation. Moreover, compressed air at various pressures is required in national defense and scientific research areas including weapon releasing, submarine rise and fall, sunken vessel salvage and submarine oil exploration etc.

The main application of compressed air is used as power source and control air supply. As air compressor, its main feature is that the discharged pressure could be set differently according to various application while its suction pressure always being at atmospheric pressure.

3. Spinner weft yarn blowing, medicine and food fermentation and mixing, air transportation etc.
4. For automatic production lines, large quantity of cylinders are used as running parts which require compressor to supply air.

With its features of easy storage and control, good mobility, and environmental friendly, Compressed air is regarded as the second power source only to electricity.
