The description for this product says: "A must have for any wardrobe - hanging your clothes keeps them wrinkle-free ......" this product is not 29 1/2 inches long. Very disappointed! We bought this to fit in the Brimnes wardrobe as a second rod. The Brimnes wardrobe is exactly 29 1/2 inches wide. Since a lot of Ikea's products seem to compliment each other, this description makes it appear like this rod compliments that wardrobe. This is my third time buying from IKEA and the second time something's been screwed up with my order.

I bought this rod in store and it says on the label 29 1/2” which is exactly what I needed. To my surprise when I got home, the rod measures 27 1/2”. I looked it up online and for some reason it says here it’s 27 1/2” but 29 1/2” with frame which doesn’t make sense to me. Doesn’t matter how you put it, it’s not 29 1/2”. Kind of frustrated because IKEA is far from me and I already have all my clothes on my bed so I need to do this today.

The clothes bar went into the Pax system quickly and efficiently. I would estimate I spent at least 5 minutes on the install. Most of that time was locating my screwdriver.

No issues at all. Well made and easy to assemble. Very much like all Komplement products. Just wish the backlog for these items is not so long. Over 1.5 months for some Komplement accessories. Products are 5 stars, Ikea distribution and store support is 3-4.

Make sure you have it were you want it before you place the bar in the slots. Plastics are easily broken if you try to take the bar back out

After pricing hardware for a wardrobe clothes rail , I found that IKEA rails are easily cut to length and with a .195” end mill , easy to make mounting holes. Price 1/2 price of Home Depot or other hardware suppliers.
