Workshop on 'Prefabricated Buildings and construction' to be held on Nov 29th & 30th at JNTUH

01 Apr.,2023

The company has a group of cooperation teams engaged in the prefabricated workshop industry for many years, with dedication, innovation spirit and service awareness, and has established a sound quality control and management system to ensure product quality.

Workshop on 'Prefabricated Buildings and construction' to be held on Nov 29th & 30th at JNTUH

The workshop is proposed to coincide with the superannuation of Prof. N.V.Ramana Rao, Director, NIT Warangal, formerly Rector & Professor of Civil Engineering, JNTUH. It intends to present the information related to the construction of buildings using Prefabricated buildings and construction technology and other technologies, and disseminates the information related to construction technologies such that the Engineers, Builders and Developers are aware of this and update themselves on this subject.

The workshop can be attended by builders, developers, contractors, teaching fraternity, researchers, practising engineers and consultants. The equipment manufacturers and suppliers, precast Industry, and ancillary machinery and material suppliers will all participate in the workshop and showcase their products.

New Construction Technologies are needed for faster construction and speedy delivery of projects in India. Some of the new and modern construction technologies, which are picking up fast in the country are:

  • Monolithic construction technology
  • Prefabricated Engineering buildings (PEB) using Structural steel
  • Prefabricated Prestressed and Precast RCC construction
  • Composite construction

Other construction technologies catching up are:

  • Insulated wall construction
  • Light gauge steel construction

While adopting for the prefabricated construction, 90% of the units are made in the factory well in advance and transported to the site, for erection and jointing, and thus construction speed is achieved and buildings/projects could be completed much faster compared to the conventional construction. In addition, the wastage and dust pollution are largely reduced in the construction. Advanced countries like the USA, European continent, Australia and Singapore have already adopted this construction and India is gradually adopting this technology for the last five years.

Using prefabricated construction, multi-story structures are already built in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, NCR, Vijayawada, Punjab, etc.
