We are right in the middle of our main bedroom and bathroom remodel. I am SO excited and as I was planning out the new bedroom and bathroom spaces, I knew I wanted to incorporate my love of black and white with natural wood. One of my favorite trends right now is all of the cane webbing projects that people are hacking furniture with. I think the natural wood caning is so beautiful and adds texture and interest to almost any kind of furniture and design style!

I have a couple of DIY cane webbing projects that I am working on for our new bathroom and bedroom, but in the meantime I thought I would share some of my favorite DIY caning projects with you!

Dining Room Ikea Hutch Hack | Erin Solange

I love this easy hutch makeover that Erin hacked. She took the Ikea Brimnes cabinet and inserted caning in the doors plus a natural piece of wood at the bottom for a custom look! Be sure to check out her mid-century buffet she also added cane webbing too. It looks amazing!

Office Hutch Ikea Hack | Adore Home

Here’s another amazing Ikea hack. Two Ivar cabinets are put together with caning on the front and new trim to create a gorgeous office credenza. Be sure to check out the tutorial!
